Quote Medicare from the contact, and let the enrollment fill in your CRM
Open a client in HealthSherpa Medicare from the Quote button, and have the plan, policy, medications and doctors land back on the contact when the application is submitted.
Most Medicare agents know this loop. You look the client up in your CRM, open HealthSherpa in another tab, type the client in again, quote, enroll, and then go back to the CRM to type the plan in a third time. The medications and doctors you just entered for the quote never make it back to the contact at all. As of this week, AgencyView closes that loop at both ends. Start the quote from the contact Open a contact, click Quote , and choose Medicare . HealthSherpa Medicare opens in a new tab on that client's own plan page. Their name, date of birth, address, phone, MBI, Part A and Part B effective dates and Medicaid ID are already on their record, because AgencyView sends them first. If the client is already in HealthSherpa Medicare, that record is updated, not copied. You pick up where you left off. The enrollment comes back to the contact When the application is submitted in HealthSherpa, AgencyView puts it on the contact: A pending policy , linked to the client, with the carrier, plan name, plan code, submit date and effective date. Medications and doctors from the application, added to the contact. Anything already on file is skipped, so nothing is listed twice. A note with the full application: premium, confirmation number, election period, pharmacies, riders, the authorized representative and Medicaid details. Blank fields filled in , such as date of birth, MBI, Part A and Part B dates, Medicaid ID and the authorized representative's name and phone. AgencyView never overwrites something you already entered. If the application says something different from the contact, the note lists it under "Not changed — please review" so you can decide which is right. Set it up once The Quote button works as soon as HealthSherpa Medicare is connected in Settings → Integrations . To receive enrollments, copy the webhook URL and key shown there into your HealthSherpa Medicare account under Integrations → Webhook , choose API Key , and press Test . Why it matters Every time a plan is typed in by hand, there is a chance the plan code or effective date is wrong, and the policy list stops matching what the carrier has. Letting the application write the record keeps your book accurate without anyone re-keying it, and gives your team the medications and doctors for next year's review. The full list of changes is in the changelog .
