AgencyView Launches a HIPAA-Ready Printer for Insurance Agencies That Sends Anything Printed on an Office Computer Straight to Encrypted Storage and Leaves Nothing Behind

Agents print from any Windows program to “AgencyView Documents.” The PDF goes directly to encrypted storage, appears in AgencyView within seconds for staff to file to the right client, and is erased from the computer. Setup takes about five minutes per computer.

SHERIDAN, WYO. — September 29, 2026 — AgencyView, the all-in-one agency management and commission tracking platform for insurance agencies, today launched AgencyView Documents, a HIPAA-ready printer with zero footprint. An agent prints from any Windows program to the AgencyView Documents printer; the PDF travels directly from the computer to encrypted storage, appears in AgencyView under Printed Documents within seconds, and is overwritten and deleted from the computer as soon as it is received. Staff open it there and file it to the right client. It is live now for every AgencyView agency.

What happens when you print

The PDF goes directly from the computer to encrypted storage on AWS, encrypted with a dedicated key. AgencyView has a signed Business Associate Addendum with AWS.
It appears in AgencyView under Client Management, Printed Documents, as Needs Review, usually within a few seconds.
The copy on the computer is overwritten and deleted as soon as AgencyView confirms it received it. The computer’s log records only the document number AgencyView assigned, never the file name.
If the internet is down, the document waits in a folder that only the person who printed it and the computer’s administrators can open, and is sent automatically when the connection returns. The computer retries every five minutes, even with nobody signed in.

Filing it to the right client

Staff open a document to see the PDF beside a contact search, choose the document type (Scope of Appointment, application, ID card or license, ANOC or EOC, letter, or other) and file it to the client. Anything that is not a client document can be rejected. Filed and Rejected tabs keep a record of both, with who reviewed each one.

Built for HIPAA

Only the agency’s own staff can see its printed documents: agency and sub-agency admins, independent agents, LOA agents and CSRs. Clients and other agencies never can.
Opening a document asks for two-factor verification, and every open, filing and rejection is recorded with who did it and when, for the agency’s audit trail.
Each computer has its own printer key. AgencyView keeps only a fingerprint of the key, not the key itself, and an admin can revoke a lost key with one click.

Set up in about five minutes

In AgencyView, an admin creates a printer key under Printed Documents, Printer keys, and clicks Download PC setup.
On the office computer, install clawPDF, a free virtual printer for Windows.
Double-click Setup, click Yes, and paste the key. Setup creates the AgencyView Documents printer and configures it.

Availability
