AgencyView vs. Ringy: A Dialer, or the Whole Agency?
Ringy is built around the phone: a softphone, text and email drips, lead vendor integrations and a $70 power dialer add-on, at $119 a month per account. AgencyView has no power dialer, and says so. It is priced per agency, $299 with four agent seats, and carries the policy, the commission, the downline split and the HIPAA program after the call. Every Ringy claim quoted from ringy.com.
Ringy calls itself " The Insurance CRM Built For Sales ," and it is built around the phone: a softphone, click-to-call, local caller ID, text and email drips, lead vendor integrations and a power dialer add-on. If your day is dialing leads, that is a real product for a real job. This comparison asks two questions an agency owner eventually asks: what does a team cost, and what happens after the call? Every Ringy claim below was read on ringy.com on September 14, 2026, and is linked. Where its pages are silent we say "not on its pages," never "it can't." What a team of five costs Ringy's pricing page shows one price: $119 a month . That includes the CRM and softphone, click-to-call, call recording, local caller ID, SMS and email drips, campaigns, a sales pipeline and agent coaching, with "1000 minutes / 1000 text every month included for outbound usage." After that it is "$0.01 / outbound text message," "$0.01 / min outbound calls" and "$1 local phone number / month." The Power Dialer is an add-on at $70 a month , with unlimited voice minutes, voicemail drops and call scripting. AI Tools and Call Scripting are $10 add-ons each. The pricing page has no team rate. Ringy's help center describes a team as separate Ringy accounts joined under a supervisor (" Adding agents under your account grants you full access to their Ringy account "), and its referral credit arrives " once this person pays for their first subscription ." Priced that way, five agents are five subscriptions. If Ringy quotes your team differently, ask for it in writing. AgencyView is priced per agency. Professional is $299 a month with four agent seats and two customer service seats , and more agents are $19.99 a month each. Starter is $159 a month for one agent and two customer service seats. Five agents, list price Monthly Ringy, 5 × $119 $595, plus $1 per local number and usage past each account's included minutes and texts Ringy with the Power Dialer on each, 5 × ($119 + $70) $945, plus numbers AgencyView Professional, four agent seats included plus one at $19.99 $318.99, with two customer service seats; call and text carrier usage is billed separately Ringy's price includes a phone line and a bundle of minutes. AgencyView's does not: calls run on the RingCentral account you connect or on the CRM's built-in phone, and that usage is billed on its own. For a heavy outbound team that difference is real, and it belongs in the math. What each platform does, side by side What you need Ringy (per ringy.com) AgencyView Dialing Softphone with "progressive dialing, click-to-call, instant alerts, automatic call logs, call recordings" ( source ); Power Dialer add-on, $70 a month RingCentral with screen pop, recordings, transcription, scoring and a Call Wall, or calling through the CRM's built-in phone. If your agents spend the day working a lead list, a dialer that moves to the next number on its own, drops voicemails and loads the script for each lead is worth money, and Ringy's add-on includes unlimited voice minutes. Its lead vendor list covers vendors life and health agents actually buy from. Its " Monitor sold leads " setting stops automated texts and emails to a lead once anyone on the team marks the same phone number sold, which is a thoughtful fix for a problem shared lead lists create. And one price with minutes included is easy to understand. Where the two part ways After the call A dialer gets you to "sold." An agency then has to carry the policy for years: the carrier, the number, the premium, the effective date, the spouse and dependents on it, the renewal, the anniversary call. In AgencyView the policy is a record attached to the client and the household, and a plan selected through HealthSherpa writes the pending policy and a follow-up task before the agent hangs up. On Ringy's pages, a sale is a status on a lead with an amount beside it. Getting paid Typing a commission amount onto a lead tells you what you expected. It does not tell you what the carrier paid, what it took back, or what your downline is owed. AgencyView tracks commissions against carrier statements and flags chargebacks, and on Professional it carries the agency hierarchy with splits and overrides for uplines, downlines and LOAs. The CFO Center turns the same statements into what the agency really earned and what the book is worth. A HIPAA program TCPA compliance protects your texting. Health and Medicare work also means protected health information, and that needs a different program: BAAs with your vendors and downlines, training your staff completed, and an access log you can show an auditor. Ringy's security page does not address HIPAA. AgencyView's Compliance Center runs that program for the agency. Health and Medicare, end to end Several of the agents quoted on Ringy's homepage are licensed health agents. For that book, the work after the call is quoting, enrolling and tracking status. AgencyView quotes and enrolls ACA plans through HealthSherpa from the client record, syncs Medicare-eligible clients to HealthSherpa Medicare, and brings submitted enrollments back as policies. The questions to ask on either demo We wrote the full list in What Agents Actually Ask For in a CRM . For this comparison, five matter most: What does my whole team cost per month, with the dialer, numbers and usage? Show me a policy record, and every policy this household holds. Where do I see what the carrier actually paid on that policy? What happens to the drip when the client texts back? Will you sign a BAA, and where is my agency's HIPAA training record kept? If a lead goes quiet after the first call, the follow-up that brings it back is in The Lead Isn't Dead, Your Follow-Up Is . A dialer, or the whole agency? If you are a solo producer whose job is outbound dialing, and your policies, commissions and compliance live somewhere else, Ringy's power dialer at one price is a strong choice. If you run an agency where the call is the first step, and the policy, the household, the commission, the downline split and the HIPAA file all have to…
