AgencyView vs. InsuredMine: When There Is No AMS Underneath
InsuredMine is a sales layer on top of a property-and-casualty management system, and it says so with its integrations. A health, Medicare or life agency has no AMS. AgencyView is the system of record: the policy, the HealthSherpa enrollment, the commission statement and the compliance file, on one published price. Every InsuredMine claim quoted from its own site.
InsuredMine is a good CRM for the agencies it was built for. Its homepage calls it "AI-Powered Revenue Intelligence for Insurance Agencies" and the logos on that page tell you who those agencies are: Applied Epic, HawkSoft, AMS360, QQ Catalyst, NowCerts, Vertafore and Nexsure, the property-and-casualty management systems, plus memberships in the Vertafore and HawkSoft user groups. If you write auto and home on top of an AMS, InsuredMine sits on top of that AMS and adds the sales layer. This post is for the health, Medicare and life agency that is looking at it anyway. Every InsuredMine claim below is quoted from insuredmine.com as read on September 25, 2026, with a link. Where its pages are silent we say "not on its pages", not "it can't". What InsuredMine is, in its own words Its homepage describes a sales pipeline, opportunities, goals and tasks, an "Account 360" client view, drip campaigns, automation, work-email sync, Google reviews, a template library, dashboards and reports, e-signature with SMS one-time-passcode verification and Stripe payment, agent and client mobile apps, and "Two-Way AMS Sync." It is "SOC 2 Type II Certified." Customers on the page "manage over $8 Billion in Premiums." The AI features are "Instant Summaries," "Sales Insights," "Voice Lead Capture" and "Cross-sell prediction." Its pricing page lists three tiers, Growth, Enterprise and Sherpa, each behind a "Get Pricing" button. Enterprise adds a "Dedicated Account Sherpa," "Custom API Integration Support" and "SLA Guaranteed Support"; Sherpa is "Your employee within InsuredMine" with "Daily system optimization & audits" and "Campaign creation & execution." No dollar figures are published. The question for a health or Medicare agency InsuredMine's model assumes a management system underneath it: the AMS holds the policies, the commissions and the accounting, and InsuredMine syncs to it and runs sales. Most ACA and Medicare agencies do not have an AMS. They have a CRM, a HealthSherpa login, a pile of carrier statements and a compliance binder. For them, the questions InsuredMine's pages do not answer are the ones that matter. What you need InsuredMine (per insuredmine.com) AgencyView Price "Get Pricing" on all three tiers; no figure published Published: $159 per month (1 agent + 2 CSR) or $299 (up to 25 agents), 14-day free trial ( pricing ) Where the policy lives "Two-Way AMS Sync" with Applied Epic, HawkSoft, AMS360, QQ Catalyst, NowCerts, Vertafore, Nexsure On the client record in the CRM, for every line, with no AMS required ACA and Medicare enrollment Not on its pages HealthSherpa ACA quoting and enrollment from the client record; Medicare contact sync; status written back Commissions Not on its pages (an AMS function in its model) Statements mirrored nightly; Commission History per client; lapse, never-paid and chargeback alerts; splits and overrides; on every plan Agency finance Dashboards and sales reports CFO Center: what you really earned, which carriers went quiet, receivables, clawback exposure, book valuation, tax set-aside Compliance "SOC 2 Type II Certified"; HIPAA not on its pages HIPAA Compliance Center: BAAs sent and chased, training records, audit logs, denied-access logging, reports Intake and e-sign E-signature with SMS OTP, templates, Stripe payment, AMS sync Survey builder with Medicare and ACA intake; e-signed Scope of Appointment and consent on the record; answers become medications, conditions and providers Phones Texting; RingCentral among the integration logos RingCentral: screen pop, recordings, transcription, scoring, Call Wall; or Twilio-powered calling and texting through the CRM Mobile Agent app and client app Responsive web; client portal Where InsuredMine is the right answer If your book is personal and commercial lines, your policies already live in Epic or HawkSoft, and what you lack is a pipeline, drip campaigns and texting that your producers will actually use, InsuredMine was built for exactly that, and its customers say so on its own page. Its e-signature with text delivery is a real advantage for a P&C shop, and a client mobile app is something AgencyView does not have. Where the two part ways No AMS, no problem AgencyView is the system of record. Clients, households, policies for every line, medications, conditions and providers are records on the CRM contact, and commission statements are mirrored onto those policies every night. There is nothing to sync to because there is no second system. Enrollment is in the record Press Quote on a client and HealthSherpa returns the marketplace plans with the subsidy applied. Select one and a pending policy and a follow-up task are written before the enrollment continues on HealthSherpa. Medicare-eligible clients sync to HealthSherpa Medicare on their own and submitted enrollments come back as policies. The money and the audit The CFO Center answers the owner's questions from the statements: what did I really earn, which carriers went quiet, what am I owed, what is the book worth. The HIPAA Compliance Center runs your agency's own program: the BAAs you hold, the training your staff completed, the log you can show an auditor. InsuredMine's pages describe SOC 2 for the vendor and are silent on both. Built for the book you have A P&C agency with an AMS should look at InsuredMine. A health, Medicare or life agency should ask what holds the policy, the commission and the compliance file when there is no AMS underneath. AgencyView is that system.
