AgencyView vs. RetireFlo: Should Intake Be Its Own Subscription?
RetireFlo charges $49.99 per survey per month for Medicare and ACA intake. AgencyView includes unlimited intake surveys on every plan, writes the answers into the client record, and quotes from the same record through HealthSherpa. A side-by-side, with every RetireFlo claim quoted from its own site.
RetireFlo solved a real problem for Medicare agents: getting the drug list, the doctors and the pharmacy from a client before the appointment, without listening to someone spell a prescription over the phone. Its site calls it "America's Leading Medicare & ACA Intake Platform" and says 15,000 agents use it. If you are one of them, this post is about one question: should intake be its own subscription, or part of the platform you already pay for? Every RetireFlo claim below is quoted from app.retireflo.com as read on September 7, 2026, with a link. Where its site is silent we say "not on its pages", not "it can't". The price, first RetireFlo's pricing section reads "Monthly cost $49.99 / Per Survey" , with a note to "check with your FMO or agency upline for a discount code." As we read it, each survey you run is its own monthly line. A Medicare intake, an ACA intake and a Scope of Appointment would be three. AgencyView's surveys are part of the platform on every plan, with no per-survey fee. The Starter plan is $159 per month with a 14-day free trial, and it includes the CRM, the client records those surveys write into, commission tracking, and the compliance file. Three RetireFlo surveys at list price cost nearly the same as the whole AgencyView Starter plan. What you need RetireFlo (per app.retireflo.com) AgencyView Price "$49.99 / Per Survey" monthly; discount codes via FMO or upline Surveys included on every plan; plans from $159 per month, 14-day trial Intake surveys Prescription, doctor and pharmacy collection; "48 Hour Scope of Appointment Solution"; "Sticky Permission to Contact"; Spanish; custom pURL; unlimited submissions Survey builder with Medicare and ACA intake, quote request, Scope of Appointment and consent; sections, conditional logic, branding, webhooks, access control Where the answers go "PDF Summaries of Important Client Data"; "Syncs with Enrollment Platforms"; "Syncs with CRMs" (Connecture DRX, HealthSherpa, Integrity Connect, SunFire, AgencyBloc and others listed) Into the client record itself: contact matched or created, PDF filed under Forms and Consent, note, tag, opportunity and an alert to the agent What happens next Not on its pages (RetireFlo is intake; quoting and enrollment happen in the platforms it syncs to) Quote from the same record through HealthSherpa, enroll, track the policy, see the commission, keep the compliance file Compliance "CMS Compliant (HPMS Approved)", "SOC II Type II Compliant", "HIPAA Compliant", "Fully Encrypted"; "Compliant Paper Trail" HIPAA Compliance Center: AgencyView's BAA sent and followed up, a vendor BAA register, training records, audit logs, denied-access logging, reports; signed forms stored on the client Team "Downline Permission Settings" Agency, sub-agency and downline scoping on surveys, records and reports 1. Building the intake RetireFlo gives you a polished, branded intake with your logo and headshot, in English or Spanish, at a custom link. AgencyView's builder gives you the same branded link and then lets you shape the form: sections for the applicant, the household and the spouse, conditional logic so a question only appears when it applies, a CRM tab that decides which pipeline and stage a submission opens, webhooks, and access rules for who on the team can send it. The Medicare intake, the ACA household application, the quote request and the Scope of Appointment are ready to use; anything else is yours to design. 2. Where the answers land This is the part that decides whether intake is worth a second subscription. RetireFlo produces "PDF Summaries of Important Client Data" and syncs to the enrollment platforms and CRMs it lists. AgencyView writes the answers into the client's own record: the contact is matched or created, a PDF of the completed form is filed under Forms and Consent. A note, a line-of-business tag and an opportunity are written, and the agent gets an alert. Dependents named on the form are parked for review, never created blind. The completed form stays on the client record, so next year's renewal starts from what is already on file. 3. What the intake turns into RetireFlo's site describes intake and syncing; quoting, enrollment and commissions are not on its pages, because they happen elsewhere. In AgencyView the same record the survey filled is the one the agent quotes from. Press Quote, and the household is already there; HealthSherpa returns the plans with the subsidy applied; selecting a plan writes a pending policy and a follow-up task and hands the enrollment to HealthSherpa. Medicare-eligible clients sync to HealthSherpa Medicare automatically, with their Medicare number. When the carrier pays, the commission shows up on that client's Commission History, and in the CFO Center. 4. Compliance RetireFlo lists CMS, SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA compliance and a "Compliant Paper Trail". Those are statements about RetireFlo. Your agency's HIPAA program is your own: the BAAs you hold with vendors, the training your staff completed, the log you can show an auditor. AgencyView's Compliance Center is that program, and the signed Scope of Appointment sits on the client record beside the intake that produced it. Intake is part of the job, not a product RetireFlo is good at the thing it does, and its integrations list shows how many platforms agents are stitching together to get from intake to enrollment. AgencyView's answer is that the survey, the client record, the quote, the enrollment, the commission and the compliance file are one system. From Lead to Quote to Enroll , and the intake is where the lead starts. See it with your own book: try the interactive demo or start free .
