AgencyView vs. unLocked CRM: Per User, or Per Agency?
unLocked CRM is insurance-native and priced per user: $69, $149 and $247 per user per month plus usage, with commission tracking and eApps on the top tier. AgencyView is priced per agency, $299 with four agent seats and commissions on every plan, and follows the client past the quote into enrollment, status and the statement. Every unLocked claim quoted from its own site.
unLocked CRM is the newest name in insurance software and the loudest about AI. Its site calls it "The AI CRM Built for Insurance Agents," lists 1,252 carrier quoting integrations and 332 commission feeds, and says it was founded in 2025 . It is insurance-native, which already puts it ahead of the generic CRMs, so this comparison is closer than most. It comes down to two things: how the two platforms are priced, and what happens after the quote. Every unLocked claim below is quoted from unlockedcrm.ai as read on September 8, 2026, with a link. Where its pages are silent we say "not on its pages", not "it can't". Per user, or per agency unLocked's pricing is "per-user pricing" in three tiers: Core $69 , Pro $149 and Max $247 per user per month, with 20% off annually and a 14-day trial. "Calling minutes and SMS are billed by usage" at "$0.0113" per text and "$0.0195" per minute, and the site notes that "usage-based fees may apply for calling, texting, enrichment, and lead add-ons." Agencies and IMOs get "custom" pricing. The tier matters, because the features an agency runs on sit at the top. On unLocked's own plan list, Commission+ (commission tracking "integrated with 332 carriers"), eApps and the Client Portal appear only under Max at $247 per user per month . The AI Quoting Suite and the full 1,252 carriers start at Pro. Core has "All Quoters" across 940 carriers, SOAs, a power dialer, campaigns and reporting. AgencyView is priced per agency. The Professional plan is $299 per month with four agent seats and two customer service seats , with more agents at $19.99 a month each; Starter is $159 per month for one agent and two CSR accounts. Every plan includes the core platform: commission tracking is on Starter, not reserved for a top tier. Five seats that need commission tracking Monthly, list price unLocked Max, 5 × $247 (per its pricing page) $1,235, or $985 billed annually, plus calling and texting by usage unLocked Pro, 5 × $149 (no Commission+) $745, or $580 billed annually, plus usage AgencyView Professional, four agent seats included plus one at $19.99 $318.99; billed annually, two months are free Per-user pricing is fair for a solo agent. It becomes the largest line on an agency's budget the day the third producer joins, and it is the reason we price the way we do. Quoting across life, annuity, Medicare and ACA in one suite is a genuine time-saver, the underwriting tool is a smart way to pre-qualify a life case, and an AI voice agent that books appointments is not a gimmick if it books appointments. If your business is outbound life and annuity production, those are the features you will use every day, and unLocked's own reviews page says agents like them. Where the two part ways After the quote A quote is not a client. AgencyView's ACA path ends in an enrollment through HealthSherpa, a pending policy on the record, a follow-up task for the carrier number, and status coming back. Medicare-eligible clients sync to HealthSherpa Medicare on their own and submitted enrollments return as policies. unLocked's pages describe the quoting side in detail and list eApps on Max; how a marketplace enrollment is completed and tracked is not on its pages. Commissions on every plan Both platforms track commissions. The difference is who gets it. On unLocked it is a Max feature at $247 per user. On AgencyView the nightly statement sync, the per-client Commission History and the alerts are on the $159 Starter plan, because a solo agent needs to know what a carrier paid just as badly as an agency does. The CFO Center "Book-level revenue in one place" is a report. The CFO Center is the owner's questions answered from the statements: what did I really earn, which carriers went quiet, what am I owed, what could be clawed back, what is the book worth, what do I set aside for taxes. A HIPAA program, not a badge unLocked says it is HIPAA compliant and signs BAAs, which is what a vendor should say. Your agency's own program is a separate thing: the BAAs you hold with your vendors and downlines, the training your staff completed, the access log you can show an auditor. The Compliance Center runs that program. Intake unLocked includes SOA and consent forms on Core. AgencyView has those and a full survey builder for the Medicare and ACA intake that comes before them, with the answers filed as a PDF under Forms and Consent, a note written and an opportunity opened. One platform, one price If you are a solo life producer who lives on outbound calls, unLocked's per-user price and AI dialer may fit you well. If you run an agency with agents, CSRs and a health book that has to be enrolled, tracked, paid and audited, the question is what the whole team costs and whether the platform follows the client past the quote. That is what AgencyView is built for. From Lead to Quote to Enroll , then Paid, for the whole agency at one published price.
