AgencyView vs. Salesforce: What an Insurance Agency Actually Pays
Salesforce lists Sales Cloud from $25 to $550 per user per month and Financial Services Cloud from $325, billed annually, before implementation and before Premier support at 30% of the license. AgencyView Professional is $299 per month with four agent seats and two CSR seats, built for insurance, on one subscription. Every Salesforce price quoted from salesforce.com.
Every few months another agency owner announces they are "moving to Salesforce." It is a reasonable instinct. Salesforce is the biggest CRM in the world , it can be made to do almost anything, and the brand carries weight with a carrier or an FMO. This post is about what that decision costs a health, Medicare or life agency, and what it gets you compared with a platform built for the job. Every Salesforce price below is quoted from salesforce.com as read on September 7, 2026, with a link. What Salesforce costs, per user, per month Salesforce's Sales Cloud pricing page lists five paid editions. All but the first are "billed annually": Sales Cloud edition Price What the page says you get Starter Suite $25 per user per month, "monthly or annually" "Lead, Account, Contact, and Opportunity Management"; email, event and contact sync Pro Suite $100 per user per month, billed annually "Everything in Starter Plus Greater Customization and Automation"; "Sales Quoting and Forecasting" Core $195 per user per month, billed annually Adds "Advanced Forecast & Pipeline Management", "Sales Territories", Flow Builder Advanced $395 per user per month, billed annually Max $550 per user per month, billed annually "2.75M Flex Credits per org per year" For a regulated industry Salesforce points agencies at Financial Services Cloud : "$325 USD/User/Month" for Sales, "$350 USD/User/Month" for Sales and Service, and "$750 USD/User/Month" for the Agentforce 1 editions, all billed annually. The same page lists "Financial Services Cloud for Insurance Brokerages" as a "$0 add-on SKU" on top of an Enterprise or Unlimited license, and "Digital Insurance" at "$180,000 USD/Org/Year." Then the lines that are easy to miss. "Agentforce for Sales" is "From $125 USD/user/month" and "Available for purchase" on the lower tiers. "Revenue Intelligence" is "From $220 USD/user/month." The Premier Success Plan, which is how you get support beyond the basics, is priced at "30% of net license fees." None of that includes the implementation partner who configures the objects, the page layouts and the automations that make a generic CRM understand a policy, a household or a commission statement. What that means for a five-person agency Take an agency owner, three agents and one CSR. Using Salesforce's own list prices: Pro Suite : 5 × $100 = $500 per month , billed annually ($6,000 up front), for lead, contact and opportunity management with quoting and forecasting. Nothing in it knows what an ACA policy, a Medicare MBI or a carrier statement is. Financial Services Cloud for Sales : 5 × $325 = $1,625 per month , billed annually ($19,500 up front), before an implementation partner and before Premier support at 30% of the license. AgencyView's Professional plan is $299 per month with four agent seats and two CSR seats (extra agents $19.99 a month), month to month, with a 14-day free trial and two months free on annual billing. The Starter plan is $159 per month for one agent and two CSR accounts. Every plan includes the core platform. That is not a discount on the same thing. It is a different thing, and the next section is why. If you are a carrier, an FMO with a development team, or an agency whose real product is a custom workflow nobody else has, Salesforce's platform is the point: Flow Builder, the AppExchange, an API for everything, and a partner ecosystem that will build whatever you can pay for. If you already have a Salesforce admin on staff, that is a real asset. The agencies we build for do not have an admin on staff. They have an owner who is also the top producer, a couple of agents, a CSR, and an open enrollment season that does not wait for a configuration project. Built for the job, priced for the agency AgencyView already knows what a household is, what a pending policy is, what a chargeback is, and what an auditor will ask for. It quotes through HealthSherpa, reads the commission statements, runs the compliance file, and answers the owner's questions in the CFO Center. It costs one published subscription, and you can start it this afternoon without a statement of work. From Lead to Quote to Enroll , then Paid, on one platform.
